How your information is handled

This app holds detail about your body, your food and your training. This page says plainly what is collected, who can see it, and what you can ask for. Last updated 2026.

What is collected

  • Account details — your name, email address and time zone.
  • Training data — the workouts assigned to you, the weights and reps you log, your notes, and any form videos or photos you upload.
  • Nutrition data — your macro targets, food entries you type in, and food logs synced from an app you choose to connect.
  • Body data — weigh-ins, measurements, body-fat readings and progress photos, where you record them.
  • Habits and check-ins — what you tick off each day and the answers you write.
  • Messages between you and your coach.
  • Technical records — sign-in times, IP address and browser, kept for security.

Who can see it

Your coach at Fuel & Fit can see everything above about you — that is the point of coaching, and it is what lets your plan be adjusted to what is actually happening. Other clients can never see your information. Staff access is limited to the coach assigned to you and the account owner.

Access to health data is logged. If someone opens or changes your records, that is recorded with a timestamp.

Connected apps

If you connect MyFitnessPal, Cronometer or a wearable, you sign in on that provider's own page. Fuel & Fit never sees or stores your password for those services. What comes back is your food logs, body weight and activity — nothing else.

You can disconnect any provider at any time from Settings → Connected apps. That stops new data immediately. Data already synced stays in your history unless you ask for it to be removed.

Where it is stored

Your records are held in an encrypted database, and uploaded videos and photos in encrypted object storage. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be read by anyone, including your coach.

How long it is kept

While you are an active client, your full history is kept so your trends stay meaningful. If you stop coaching, your account is archived rather than deleted, so you can ask for your records later. Ask for deletion and your personal data is removed within 30 days, apart from anything Katie has to keep for tax or insurance reasons.

What you can ask for

  • A copy of everything held about you, in a file you can keep.
  • A correction to anything that is wrong.
  • Deletion of your account and the data in it.
  • An end to any specific processing — for example, disconnecting an app.

Email katie@fuelandfit.net and you will get a reply within a few days.

What this app is not

Fuel & Fit is coaching, not healthcare. Nothing here is medical advice, no one here is your doctor, and this app is not a medical record. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury, speak to a qualified medical professional before starting or changing a training or nutrition plan.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, you will be asked to read and accept the new version when you next sign in.
